Data Renewal Business Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Renewal Business Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the renewal contracts are renewed prior to expiration and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role
Your primary objective will be to achieve renewal retention targets and minimize losses in your territories by developing and implementing effective renewal programs and best practices. You will work closely with our sales counterparts, marketing, product, partners, and customers on all aspects of the sales cycle, from quotation to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet quarterly and annual targets
- Generate renewal quotes, including validation, auditing, and management of all aspects of Arcserve maintenance and subscription renewal
- Maintain accurate and timely forecasts on a rolling 120-day basis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure their continued satisfaction
- Leverage an understanding of partner and customer success principles, approaches, and metrics when working with at-risk partners and customers
- Monitor customer usage data, health indicators, renewal dates, and growth opportunities and translate them into strategies for success, together with reseller partners and internal sales teams
- Identify opportunities for expanding Arcserve's business with a customer and transfer the expansion opportunity to the appropriate sales team member and/or reseller partner for follow-up and next steps
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, technical support, and product, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Monitor customer health and identify potential risks or opportunities for growth
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years in customer-facing roles, including renewals, inside sales, account management, customer support, etc.
- Ability to work in the evening shift (US Time Zone)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong phone skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed to build strong relationships, particularly with field organizations and business partners
- Experience in managing issues, scope, and quality while bringing areas of responsibility and tasks to completion under strict deadlines
- Highly skilled at multitasking with the ability to quickly adapt and learn
- Highly skilled at managing time between calls, troubleshooting follow-ups, customer relationship management, and new customer outreach
- Proficiency with Excel & Salesforce
- Experience with complex, escalated customer situations, ability to navigate large organizations, and gain executive-level buy-in
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
