Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Team Lead to join our mission-driven team at Vintronics Consulting. As a key member of our finance, analytics, and technology team, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists in developing, monitoring, and enhancing best-in-class models and algorithms to assess risk, churn, and uptake across the customer life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy cutting-edge credit, churn, and usage models using advanced algorithms in a Big Data/Machine Learning environment.
  • Lead a team of data scientists in building a process that maximizes operating efficiency while maintaining risk across multiple lending cycles.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to define data pipelines and build a feature bank to support ML algorithm development and deployment.
  • Partner with credit policy and portfolio management teams to drive P&L outcomes.
  • Build reports for model monitoring and drive enhancements.

Requirements

  • Solid expertise in end-to-end risk model lifecycle management.
  • Previous hands-on experience in credit, fraud, and churn model development and deployment.
  • Experience in PD/EAD/LGD model development/validation and CSI/PSI model monitoring process.
  • Hands-on experience in data extraction, data cleaning, feature creation, and building models using PySpark/Python on Spark.
  • Experience leading a data science team with functional ownership/responsibilities.
  • Previous exposure to algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBOOST, Markov Chain, PSI/CSI, and Strategy Performance Tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good business understanding of the fintech/consumer finance space.
  • Experience in working with credit card/personal lending space, especially in fintech.
  • Hands-on experience in working with Telecom data.
