Indusface is seeking a skilled Security Consultant to join our team. This role requires project-oriented experience and a technical background in security consulting and ethical hacking.

About the Role

This is a consulting position where you will carry out tests on systems to expose weaknesses in security, report the findings to customers to help them protect themselves better, and assist engineering teams in building relevant security products.

Job Description:
  • Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of web and mobile applications for our clients, assisting them in improving their applications' security posture.
  • Research new vulnerabilities, attack vectors, exploits, tools, and industry trends for the above-mentioned services.
  • Assist product engineering by identifying and showcasing new exploitation techniques and helping build application firewall rules.
  • Provide offsite and on-site consulting services to our clients.
  • Act as the front-line point of escalation on assigned client engagements, following up on open issues and acting as an escalation of contact for all customer issues.
  • Plan workload for the team as per customer requests, train and assist team members with technology and client services engagements, and communicate critical client issues to management.
  • Assist in creating client system profiles and Statements of Work (SoW) using Microsoft desktop applications.
Candidate Profile:
  • The ideal candidate should be a BE/MCA/MBA with IT security/networking/system integration experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Experience in application security risk assessment/architecture design audit is necessary.
  • Experience in White box/Black box/Grey box testing (security source code review) on thin and thick-based applications is essential.
  • Knowledge of OWASP Application Security Verification Standard is a must.
  • The candidate should be an active member of the Info Sec team and contribute to achieving team goals as may be required.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of internal staff and vendors, are required.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, which ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
