We are seeking a highly skilled Software Validation Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the validation of ECU functions, preferably in the Body electronics domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate ECU functions in the Body electronics domain
  • Perform requirement analysis, effort estimations, and work breakdown
  • Develop test specifications and implement test automation frameworks using dSpace/Vector VT/ETAS HiL environments
  • Execute test automation frameworks and report test defects to ensure software test coverage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, or Masters in Computer Applications
  • Experience in software validation activities, including test specification development and implementation of test automation frameworks
  • Good understanding of the SW validation cycle 'V-model'

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Visual Basic scripting or scripting languages
  • Experience with dSpace/ETAS/Vector VT HiL setups
  • Awareness of communication protocols like CAN, LIN
  • Knowledge of diagnostic protocols like UDS(i)
  • Experience in HIL development and commissioning
  • Exposure to configuration management tools like SVN, DOORS
  • Exposure to testing tools like CANape, CANoe, and PROVEtech:TA
