Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Data Analytics Leader to drive data-driven initiatives and optimize business performance. As Senior Manager – Product Data Analyst, you will lead our data analysis and reporting team, delivering actionable insights to drive sales growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of data analytics strategies to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze large datasets from various sources, including POS systems, CRM, and loyalty programs, to identify key patterns, product preferences, and market trends.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track critical retail KPIs such as sales per square foot, average transaction value (ATV), footfall, and customer retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple platforms, ensuring accurate and timely information for decision-making.
- Present reports and insights to senior leadership, recommending improvements to menu offerings, promotional effectiveness, and store operations.
- Develop predictive models and trend forecasts to guide inventory management, staffing needs, and marketing strategies.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data governance policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior insights, and emerging data analytics technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and experience with retail POS systems and CRM data integration.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Experience in managing cross-functional data projects, particularly in retail or consumer-facing environments.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting, customer segmentation, and inventory optimization strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance with privacy regulations.
