About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at myFitApp. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop front-end architecture, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and implementing responsive design principles.
  • Optimize the front end for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Build full-stack solutions by integrating front-end UI with back-end services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications and ensure efficient cloud infrastructure setup.
  • Implement and maintain APIs, using version control for collaborative development and maintaining clean code bases.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization to improve application efficiency.
  • Work closely with the product manager and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver features.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge with peers.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technical innovations that enhance the development workflow.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of commercial experience as a Java or JavaScript developer, with extensive experience in both frontend (Vue.js) and backend (Node.js, etc.).
  • Preferably experience with test-driven development using unit testing and UI testing tools like Cypress.
  • Preferably experience in Scrum or similar agile working methodology.
  • It is a plus if you have experience with systems architecture.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external communication.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, user interface design, product requirements, and/or operations is a clear benefit.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of Security and Data privacy policies.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge or experience in the Health and Fitness industry.
  • Experience supporting complex ERP systems.
  • Hardware peripherals and network troubleshooting.
  • Git (Bitbucket/GitHub).
  • IntelliJ or similar.
  • Slack, Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
