ServiceNow Solution Architect Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Solution Architect to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in the delivery of ServiceNow Implementation projects and driving strategic transformation change of ITIL solution deployment. They will be responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, enhancements and integrity of existing ServiceNow ITSM & CSM applications as well as implementation and development of new applications on the ServiceNow platform within the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow and ITIL principles and will be able to translate user requirements into technical solutions that align with customer expectations.

The ServiceNow Solution Architect will be responsible for:

  • Providing subject matter expertise and acting as a technical product advocate
  • Designing, developing and implementing ITIL processes, ITSM, CSM, Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within the ServiceNow platform
  • Implementing technology specific best practices and standards
  • Researching and evaluating alternative solutions and recommending the most efficient and cost-effective solutions

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in terms of the business
  • ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory
