The JobWe are looking for a Tech Leader who can facilitate discussions and lead decision making on all engineering aspects of their team.
The ideal candidate should be able to define and execute the engineering plans for the areas under their ownership.
Responsibilities include driving engineering best practices, defining, implementing and maintaining the hygiene of the production systems (both engineering and processes) for the areas under their ownership.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the health of the business directly owned by their team.
In addition, they will challenge business & product on outcomes, channelize feedback into execution and be accountable for engineering outputs.
Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a best-of-class engineering team is also a key responsibility.
A strong leader who can manage all stakeholder management including but not limited to business, product, operations and clients/vendors is required.
RequirementsProven skills designing and developing simple to complex solutions including experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems are essential.
A proven track record building and managing high-performing software development teams is also necessary.
Practical experience and ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems with other senior members in the team is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent) and 8+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in leading teams are must-haves.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences is also essential.
