Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Technical Program Management Expert to join our team. This role involves managing technical programs, driving project deliverables, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and product goals. You will gain valuable experience in program management, including planning, execution, and communication with stakeholders, while working closely with engineers, product managers, and other key partners.
Main Responsibilities:
- Program Planning & Execution: Assist in defining and executing complex technical programs, ensuring all technical milestones and deadlines are met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and product teams to understand technical requirements and manage project dependencies.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and proactively work with teams to create mitigation strategies.
- Tracking & Reporting: Track project progress and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders. Help manage project timelines, resources, and priorities.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain project documentation, track progress, and identify opportunities to improve team processes and workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, changes, and risks to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Strong Interest: A strong interest in program management, project delivery, and technology is essential.
- Methodology Familiarity: Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, is necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for successful collaboration across multiple teams.
- Time Management: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
Prior Experience:
- Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in technical projects is desirable.
- Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello, and Asana, is beneficial.
- Development Processes: A basic understanding of software development processes and lifecycle is preferred.
- Independent Work: The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is an asset.
- System Design: Knowledge of system design or software engineering principles is a plus.
