Job Description

QAD is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead, P2P Specialist to drive accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and mentoring junior staff in the AP function.

Note: The role requires working from our Mumbai Office at least 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing and Quality Control: Oversee and review invoice processing to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • AP Payments and Treasury Support: Oversee the AP wire and ACH transfer process, ensuring efficient collaboration with the treasury team and accurate approvals.
  • Payment Selection and Oversight: Take a leadership role in the payment selection process, working closely with the AP manager to ensure payments are accurately and timely initiated and executed.
  • Process Improvement and Project Management: Lead special projects related to AP improvements, system implementations, and data migration efforts from acquired companies.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze AP-related reports to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for process enhancement.
Qualifications:
  • Professional degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, experience in global shared service center for multinational companies required.
  • Computer skills: Strong knowledge in financial ERP systems and ticket tracking reporting tools (Experience in NetSuite and Jira a plus).
  • Other knowledge / skills: Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments while working to meet deadlines, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to succeed with diversified tasks.
