Job Description

As a senior technical professional, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge system testbeds using advanced networking devices.

  • Validate 802.11 Wireless and proprietary features, including end-to-end client to cloud architecture testing.
  • Recreate customer issues in the lab and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
  • Perform performance testing using iPerf and work closely with the CS team to review defects and enhance test coverage.
  • Create and track bugs in Jira, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Develop technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
  • Train junior engineers on emerging wireless technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Lead Engineer Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a lead engineer role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 protocol standards.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade wireless access points and basic concepts of routing and switching.
  • Experience validating IEEE 802.1x features using Freeradius or a standard RADIUS server.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting based on wireless packet captures.
Additional Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CWNA/CWSP/CWAP certification.
  • Scripting skills in Python.
  • Experience with ISE/ClearPass and basic knowledge of L2TPv3/IPsec.
