Job Title: Senior Data Engineering Lead

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead to join our Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating & managing complex data queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated application health checks and manual workarounds using Python.
  • Implement self-healing capabilities to reduce human interference, user impact, and increase availability.
  • Partner with other teams and stakeholders for timely deliverables.
  • Provide alternative solutions and ensure team deliverables meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 11-13+ years of experience in a developer role.
  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Python.
  • 8+ years of experience with SAS programming, including MACROS and Functions.
  • Data Integration skills, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into SAS for analysis.
  • Data Cleansing techniques, including handling missing values, outliers, and ensuring data quality.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing.
  • Ability to create, modify, and manage datasets using the DATA step, including merging, sorting, subsetting, and transforming data.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing data from various sources, including text files, Excel, databases, and other formats.
  • Experience with SQL queries within SAS to retrieve, filter, and manipulate data.
  • Experienced with agile methodology.

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year, based on location and experience.
