Job Title: Finance Executive

Location: Gurgaon


Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Executive to join our team in a dynamic startup environment. The Finance Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounts-related tasks, including accounting software operations, tax compliance, and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, a strong understanding of accounting practices, and a proactive attitude to take on diverse responsibilities in a growing organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, P&L statements, and balance sheets.
  • Process and manage accounts receivables and payables.

Expense & Cash Flow Management:

  • Track and manage expenses, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and ensure sufficient liquidity.

Compliance & Taxation:

  • Handle all GST and TDS related tasks, including regular filings and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.

Software Management:

  • Work with accounting software like Tally and Zoho Books for daily transactions and reporting.

Vendor Management & Purchase Orders:

  • Manage relationships with vendors, process purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports for management review.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed in a startup environment.


Requirements:

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting roles.
  • In case you are a post graduate in Finance experience of 1 year may suffice.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software like Tally and/or Zoho Books.
  • Strong understanding of GST requirements and filing processes.
  • Proven experience in handling receivables, payables, and expense management.
  • Ability to manage P&L statements and forecast cash flows.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
