We have an opportunity for CS & Legal Specialist at Thane location with INVOICEMART - A.Treds.

A.TREDS Limited (a group company of Axis Bank) is a national level online platform which facilitates financing of Receivables of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) from buyers through financiers. TREDS is in the business of opening accounts, uploading, accepting, discounting and settlement of Invoices and Bills of Exchange by way of Factoring and Reverse Factoring and provide such other services as permitted by the RBI from time-to-time.

Invoicemart is an online receivable discounting platform for facilitating the short-term financial transactions in a smooth and efficient manner among the financers, buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization, including but not limited to compliance, operations, product development, and business development.

2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including client contracts, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

3. Draft agenda papers, minutes and assist in other secretarial compliances including ROC filings, secretarial audit, etc.

4. Coordinate with secretaries of directors to fix meetings and for other data requirements.

5. Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

6. Manage and mitigate legal risks facing the organization and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for risk management and mitigation.

7. Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments impacting the fintech sector, and advise the organization on compliance requirements and best practices.

8. Handle any other legal matters and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Qualified CS and degree in Law.

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CS and practicing law, with a focus on corporate law, commercial contracts, and/or regulatory compliance.

3. Experience working in the fintech industry or with fintech clients is preferred.

4. Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to financial services regulations, data privacy laws, and intellectual property laws.

5. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

6. Past experience in handling secretarial compliances including preparing board minutes, agenda papers, etc.

7. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.

8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
