Job OverviewAs a seasoned Quantitative Analytics professional, you will be responsible for validating and reviewing the bank's risk models to ensure they operate correctly, meet regulatory requirements, and accurately identify, measure, and report risks.Conduct in-depth quantitative model validation/review testing, examining conceptual soundness, data accuracy, methodology, and ongoing performance through backtesting, benchmarking, and stress testing.Provide thorough challenges throughout the model validation/review to guarantee robust models and justified assumptions/limitations.Present findings, weaknesses, and observations identified from the validation/review to model developers/owners and provide executable finding remediations.Prepare detailed validation reports and memos documenting the validation approach, findings, and conclusions.Collaborate with internal audit teams and regulatory examiners by presenting validation results and methodologies and assisting in remediation of any audit or exam findings.Act as a subject matter expert on modeling techniques, risk management practices, and regulatory trends, conducting research and developing advanced analytical tools or benchmarking models to support the validation process.About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in quantitative analytics to drive business success.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality model validation services.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management and modeling.Requirements:Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, finance) or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative analytics, preferably in a banking or financial institution.Strong knowledge of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and modeling techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and development opportunities.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
