Job profile: Content Writer


The Wedding Company (Previously Betterhalf) is looking for creative and talented Content Writer to join our Growth and Marketing Team. We are looking for someone with a background in literature education. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about writing and has experience in the field of content creation.

Requirement:

  • Writing SEO Optimized Content for Websites.
  • Identifying the areas and topics relevant to The Wedding Company’s target audience.
  • Conceive, write and deliver compelling, on-brand, actionable content for various mediums - online, digital, social, and mobile.
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing team to develop a content strategy focused on the web content and maintain & update web pages/blogs/articles etc. to promote our products and services.
  • Manage additional aspects of the content creation including research, fact-checking, key-word optimization, editing, proofing, posting, and monitoring for engagement opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with trends and best practices in social media and content marketing.


Desired Skills:

  • 2-3 Years of experience as Content writer.
  • Passion for weddings, lifestyle content, and creative storytelling.
  • Enthusiasm to create quality and meaningful content for the Marketing industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity with social platforms.
  • Proven ability to write for a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as cross-functional teams.

Work Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
