Role Overview:
The SEO Strategist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve search engine rankings, drive website traffic, and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to optimize performance and ROI. The role requires a mix of technical expertise, analytical skills, and creativity. Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy and Execution:
Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities.
Optimize website content, meta tags, and technical SEO aspects.
Monitor and improve website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console).
Develop and execute link-building strategies (internal & external).
Stay updated on search engine algorithms and trends.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Analyze website traffic trends and provide insights for content optimization.
Prepare and present regular reports on SEO campaign performance.
Track conversion rates and suggest improvements for landing pages and user experience.
Collaboration:
Work closely with content creators, web developers, and the marketing team to implement SEO strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor‘s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
4+ years of experience optimizing SEO for Google and Bing.
Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Search Console).
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
