We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Placement Officer to drive our MSME project and establish strong partnerships with MSME companies for student placements.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • MSME Project Management:
  • Oversee and execute MSME projects aimed at creating placement opportunities for students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage MSME companies in recruitment drives and placement programs.
  • Industry Tie-ups:
  • Identify and establish relationships with MSME companies to create a robust network of potential employers.
  • Collaborate with MSME representatives to understand their recruitment needs and align them with student profiles.
  • Placement Coordination:
  • Facilitate the placement process for students, including organizing campus recruitment drives, workshops, and interview sessions.
  • Provide guidance to students on resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain and update records of placement activities, including student placements, employer feedback, and market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports on placement statistics and project progress for management review.
  • Networking and Relationship Building:
  • Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to stay updated on MSME trends and opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with alumni, industry professionals, and recruiters to enhance placement opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the academic and administrative teams to align placement activities with academic programs and student needs.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to integrate industry insights and trends into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in placement services, career counseling, or business development, with a focus on MSMEs.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining industry relationships, especially with MSME companies.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of MSME sector dynamics and recruitment trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and placement management software.
