Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a group of professionals on exciting and impactful projects.This role will involve working on the backend of our product, which uses Machine Learning & Big Data technologies to analyze content from several data sources. You will be developing APIs using Python and Ruby on Rails, as well as performing DevOps tasks from server setup to maintenance and recovery.As a developer, you will work directly under the Engineering Manager in an agile yet demanding environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software (backend and databases in particular).The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, excellent organizational skills, and proven analytical, planning, problem-solving skills. They will also have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as Redis, Postgres, and Cassandra.A key aspect of this role is collaboration and communication. You will be working closely with the engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
