Job Title: SAP HANA Database ExpertSAP HANA Database Experts play a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring performance stability and availability of our managed SAP environments.Execute service requests for backup restoration, user creation, schema modification, and parameter tuning.Monitor database health and resolve alerts within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA) using tools like HANA Cockpit, DBACOCKPIT, and OEM.Validate daily backups and maintain Disaster Recovery replication status.Perform database patching and revision upgrades following Lenovo's Change Advisory Board (CAB) approval.Analyze slow queries and support Basis Subject Matter Experts for performance issues.Document database service requests and update ServiceNow records with execution proofs.Support system refresh activities and post-copy automation.Collaborate with Infrastructure Subject Matter Experts to ensure storage and I/O performance.Required Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate should possess expertise in SAP HANA Database architecture and tools (HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, DBACOCKPIT), Oracle Database 11g/12c administration (RMAN, SQL Tuning), and Operating Systems: Linux (SLES/RHEL) and Windows Server environments.Experience in basic scripting in Bash or PowerShell is also mandatory. Additionally, the candidate should hold SAP HANA Database Certification / Oracle Certified Associate and have 2–15 years of experience in Database administration supporting SAP environments.
