Our team is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of educational video content.About UsJoVE produces science video solutions, aiming to advance scientific research and education worldwide.The RoleAs Creative Lead for Video Production, you will oversee the creation of AI-generated educational videos from concept to completion. This involves guiding creative vision, managing production timelines, and coordinating workflows to deliver high-quality outputs on schedule.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute AI-driven educational video content aligned with teaching objectives.Lead a team of video artists, animators, and editors to produce engaging educational videos for university courses.Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to ensure animations effectively communicate key concepts and meet learning goals.Manage production timelines, coordinate creative workflows, and maintain organized asset libraries to ensure timely delivery of projects.Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and balance hands-on creative work with team leadership responsibilities.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field.5+ years of experience in video production, motion graphics, and creative direction, including leadership and design roles.Excellent English communication skills.Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and generative AI video tools.Demonstrated expertise in conceptual storytelling, translating objectives into engaging narratives.Understanding of video storytelling fundamentals, composition, pacing, color theory, narrative flow.Solid compositing, color theory, color correction, and visual coherence skills for high production value.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain organized file structures.Hands-on experience with generative AI video tools.Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and adopt AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.BenefitsWorking in this role will provide opportunities for professional growth, innovation, and collaboration with experts in the field.
