We're Hiring | Sourcing Merchandiser Location: Mumbai Work Mode: Full-time | On-site Experience: 3–6 Years (Womenswear / Apparel Production) Contact: SHAKSHI SINGH | shakshi@skyleaf.global | 7521865318 Client: Confidential (Fashion & Apparel)About the Role:We're seeking a Sourcing Merchandiser to manage supplier development, product costing, production planning, and end-to-end women's apparel sourcing for a growing fashion brand. This is a high-ownership role collaborating closely with design, vendors, and production teams.Key Responsibilities: Supplier Identification & Onboarding• Identify, evaluate, and onboard relevant suppliers and job workers for womenswear production.• Negotiate best costings, payment terms, and lead times for monthly collection drops. Product Development & Costing• Translate design concepts into tech packs and cost sheets.• Manage product development to production lead times. Production Planning & Execution• Plan production orders and track T&A calendars.• Ensure on-time delivery from factories. Cross-functional Coordination• Liaise with designers, vendors, and internal teams to bridge design–production–sales seamlessly.• Work closely with pattern makers, cutters, graders, and manufacturers. Skills & Capabilities• Strong communication and coordination skills.• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-moving timelines.Requirements: Experience in women's apparel sourcing & production Strong vendor management & negotiation skills Experience creating tech packs, cost sheets, T&A Ability to work across sampling → production → dispatch Excellent communication & follow-up discipline If you're ready to drive womenswear sourcing for a fast-growing fashion brand, let's connect shakshi@skyleaf.global | 7521865318
