Global Procurement Director-Indirect Spend

  • Overall global strategy and spend responsibility for Global Indirect Procurement
  • Identify, execute and realize cost reduction measures. Responsible to deliver AOP (annual Operating Plan) for Indirect Spend
  • Identify and develop new suppliers for existing and new materials, supplies (category dependent), services as required with GCM/Stakeholder input
  • Understand global and regional business needs and contribute to business growth for respective Category with consulting stake holders and RCMs
  • P&L Responsibility in scope creation, execution and achievement
  • Elaborate the best sourcing strategies for each Categories/Sub-Categories together with the business stakeholders
  • Execute supply agreements / terms of supply with favorable conditions in terms of pricing, supply security and cash flow consideration
  • Improve payment terms and lead time with suppliers where possible
  • Conduct risk assessment for entire category and define clear action plan to mitigate/eliminate risks
  • Keep abreast of and monitor procurement of market pricing trends of keys raw materials and feedstock and global pricing, pertaining to the category
  • Share monthly report containing KPI targets, key initiatives, problems and achievements with stakeholders
  • Develop category team functionally, through team interaction and execution
  • Driving sustainable sourcing agenda for category
  • Team development plans/Growth Strategies
