Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI and Flask).The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python with FastAPI and/or Flask, proven track record of building and deploying production-grade backend systems, solid SQL expertise, and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.The role requires hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub services.Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring, is also essential.About the RoleDesign and implement high-performance, async FastAPI endpoints for healthcare billing analysis.Manage and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar), including schema design, complex queries, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.Build data processing pipelines for healthcare EDI files (835, 837) and other structured data.RequirementsStrong problem-solving and debugging abilities.Systems thinking – you understand how components interact and scale.Clear communication – you can explain technical decisions and document systems.
