We are seeking a publishing consultant who is not afraid to embrace their inner weirdo and bring some humor and quirkiness to the world of publishing. As a publishing consultant, you will be responsible for the following:
Guiding our esteemed authors through the publishing process and making sure their words reach the right audience (or any audience, really).
A primary point of contact for our authors, maintaining and developing relationships through emails and/or phone calls/ Zoom calls.
A bridge between our publishing house and our clients, ensuring that all inquiries and concerns are promptly addressed (preferably with a clever one-liner or two).
Review submitted drafts and create covers using Canva templates.
As a publishing consultant, it will be your duty to stay up to date on the publishing process and keep our authors informed of their status (in a way that doesn't put them to sleep).
You will also work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that information is flowing smoothly (like a well-oiled machine or something).
To excel in this role, you should have
strong English communication skills
an impeccable work ethic
a good understanding of Canva, and Google Suite
the ability to work as part of a team is also essential
an experience in book publishing industry for more than one year is a plus
Job Details:
Full-time, Onsite - Delhi - Jhandewalan
Timings - 10 AM to 6 PM Mon-Fri and Half day on Sat
Probation period - Two months
