Unlock the Power of Data EngineeringWe are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key player in designing the future of healthcare analytics, you will be responsible for building robust data pipelines that power nationwide analytics and support machine learning systems.Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Python (Pandas, PySpark) and SQL, orchestrated with Airflow (MWAA).Maintain high-quality, governed, scalable, and accessible data lakes/lakehouses on AWS.Run and optimize distributed data processing jobs with Spark on AWS EMR and/or EKS.Develop batch and streaming ingestion frameworks (APIs, databases, files, event streams).Ensure reliable analytics and ML readiness through validation and quality checks.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL pipeline development, or data platform roles.Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and at least one AWS cloud warehouse (Snowflake or Redshift).Proficiency in Python (Pandas, PySpark); Scala or Java is a plus.Hands-on experience with Spark on AWS EMR and/or EKS for distributed processing.About This RoleThis position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.A successful candidate will be able to design and implement efficient data pipelines, ensure data quality and governance, and optimize distributed data processing jobs.
