We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications for the role:


  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) will be an added advantage.
  • A proven track record of 10-15 years in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain, with a strong focus on performance improvement and supplier excellence.



Supplier Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement supplier performance metrics and scorecards to monitor and evaluate supplier effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to assess quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to drive supplier excellence and achieve strategic goals.


Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment and mutual success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier-related issues, working to resolve conflicts and enhance supplier engagement.
  • Facilitate regular communication and feedback sessions with suppliers to address concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.


Process Optimization:

  • Analyze supplier processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier processes and improve overall supply chain effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address process-related challenges and drive improvements.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage supplier risk, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.


Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare and present reports on supplier performance, improvement initiatives, and key metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes related to supplier performance and development.


Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to internal teams on supplier management best practices and performance improvement strategies.
  • Share knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall capability of the sourcing and supply chain teams.


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing supplier relationships and resolving conflicts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, Qlik etc
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to supplier management and quality assurance.
