Data Scientist/Software Engineer with Cloud Skills

Legal-Pythia LLP , a leading firm specializing in AI-powered financial reconciliation, seeks a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team for a high-profile project with BharatPe , a prominent FinTech company in India.
The Project:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a crucial financial reconciliation project for BharatPe. You'll work onsite at their Gurgaon office, collaborating with internal finance and technical teams to reconcile their financial records for the past four fiscal years (2018-19 to 2021-22). This involves managing and analyzing massive datasets from multiple financial systems, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payments, loans, and transactions.
Your Skills Will Shine If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in data science, data processing, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Be an expert in Python, SQL , and have experience with data integration, transformation, and wrangling. Think pipelines and automation Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Software Engineering Savvy: Experience with API integrations (payment systems, banking APIs) will put you ahead.
- Data Jedi: Possess expertise in data extraction, cleaning, and transformation across various financial systems and formats.
- Financial Force: Prior experience with financial data, ledger reconciliation, or payment systems is highly preferred. Bonus points for familiarity with accounting software like Tally or Marg ERP .
- AI/ML Advantage: Familiarity with AI/ML tools for data reconciliation, anomaly detection, and discrepancy resolution is a definite advantage.
- Keen Eye for Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a laser focus on data accuracy are essential.
- Team Player: You thrive collaborating effectively with finance and technical teams, fostering clear communication.
