Product Manager – Life Insurance

Job Purpose:
DBS Bank India Ltd. acts as corporate agent (Insurance distributor) to multiple life, general and health insurance companies under the IRDAI guidelines. Albeit, the bancassurance business consists of life, general and health insurance business across various banking channels.
This role in particular requires the candidate to manage the Life insurance product programs in order to drive the Bank’s Life insurance business targets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the product approval programs across partners and products by liaising with the regional due diligence team and in-country stakeholders.
- Execute strategic initiatives across all distribution channels of the bank which will boost the Life Insurance business drive.
- Execute and launch digital initiatives for attachment based products across Life insurance.
- Drive sales of insurance on Digibank platform and manage the product proposition
- Work with Life insurance partners, towards product programs, training programs, product placement strategies and product content.
- Ensure product content updation and maintenance across all customer facing communications example: Website, statements, emailers and other touchpoints.
- Roll out process trainings and ensure robust process implementation for Life Insurance business login
- Ensure implementation of controls and compliance measures across all distribution channels in adherence to regulatory and DBIL policy guidelines.
Core Competencies:
- Has a good grasp of Life Insurance products and lifecycle.
- Can closely work and influence the C Level employees.
- Has a minimum 5-7 years work experience in Life insurance domain
- Has good communication skills
- Has an appetite to learn and willingness to adapt as per the role
- Has good presentation skills
