What does a typical day look like for a Software Engineer L2- Frontend? As a front-end tech lead you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be working closely with the product, design and platform team on a day to day basis and be responsible for the look and feel of the product. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues. What responsibilities will you be trusted with for the Software Engineer L2- Frontend Role:Have a keen eye for detail and passionate about UI and UXHave a solid understanding of front-end technologiesBuild, maintain and gate-keep the platform toolsWork closely with the PM and designers to deliver high quality featuresWork closely with the backend engineers to understand the Haptik system and build for scaleHigh level estimating and scoping/breaking down of tasks Document features to make them easily understandable to clientsParticipate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance processUse and promote standard good coding practicesFully participate in a scrum-based, agile development teamMaintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practicesWork experience around optimizing build artifacts and performance monitoringFollowing security standards when using cookies/others to store user information etc.  What skills,expertise and experience are we looking for?3+ years of experience working on  Prior experience of leading/mentoring a team is a plusKnowledge of flux and reduxMust have extensive experience working on javascript, HTMLCSS, animations and UI/UX principles.Knowledge of backend technologies is a plusGood attention to detail, pixel perfect designsBachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent Good Communication skills Hustler with the passion for writing good codeTeam playerMust have experience in working in an agile environment, exposure to tools like Jira would be an added benefit Working hard for things that we don't care about is stress, but working hard for something we love is called passion At Haptik we passionately solve problems in order to be able to move faster and each Haptikan imbibes our key values of honesty, ownership, perseverance, communication, impact, curiosity, courage, agility and selflessness.
