Business Intelligence RoleData analysts play a vital role in informing business decisions by creating actionable reports for stakeholders.To excel in this position, one must develop foundational skills in understanding data infrastructure and analytical tools to conduct risk analysis. This includes partnering with the analytical community to ensure data availability and collaborating with commercial engagement teams, LOBs, and risk functions to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).Key Responsibilities:Query existing data and run analysis on business models using SQL and Python.Develop dashboards and packaged reporting for delivery to key stakeholders, monitoring KPI/KRI universes and setting standards for reporting.Pair reporting with business activities to provide context and meaning, driving actionable outcomes.The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, along with 2+ years of analytics experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and portfolio analytics. They should have a proven track record of using quantitative analysis to impact key business decisions. Working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau is also essential.Skill Requirements:Foundational skills in data infrastructure and analytical tools.Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive business insights.Proven track record of using quantitative analysis to inform business decisions.
