Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Camunda BPM Administrator to manage and maintain our Camunda Business Process Management (BPM) application tool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the Camunda BPM platform, ensuring the smooth execution of business processes, and providing support to both technical and non-technical teams. As an admin, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining business workflows, troubleshooting, and ensuring that the system runs efficiently at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain the Camunda BPM platform, ensuring the system operates at peak performance.
  • Monitor system health, manage servers, and oversee the configuration of Camunda engine, ensuring uptime and minimizing downtime.
  • Manage and configure process engines, deployments, and related services.
  • Support system upgrades and patch management for the Camunda BPM platform, ensuring compatibility with underlying systems.
  • Process Management and Optimization:
  • Administer workflow deployments for BPMN, CMMN, and DMN models.
  • Work closely with business analysts and process owners to ensure business processes are modeled correctly and deployed effectively.
  • Ensure that all workflows are designed to meet business needs, performance standards, and comply with any regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize process performance by troubleshooting, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements.
  • Security and User Management:
  • Configure and manage user roles, permissions, and groups within the Camunda BPM platform, ensuring security and access control.
  • Implement authentication and authorization controls in alignment with company security policies (e.g., SSO, LDAP integration).
  • Ensure that data privacy and compliance standards are met in the handling of process data.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Use Camunda Cockpit and other monitoring tools to monitor process performance, incidents, and business process execution logs.
  • Provide regular system reports, KPIs, and metrics on process performance, system health, and uptime.
  • Track and resolve system issues and process failures by using Camunda Tasklist and other available tools.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any technical issues related to the Camunda BPM platform.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as process instance failures, engine performance issues, and system errors.
  • Work closely with the development team to debug process models and fix any technical issues.
  • Provide end-user support and training for business users leveraging the Camunda Tasklist and Cockpit.
  • Integration and Automation:
  • Assist in integrating Camunda BPM with other business systems (e.g., ERPs, CRMs, databases) through REST APIs or other integration points.
  • Ensure smooth data flow and synchronization between different systems and the Camunda platform.
  • Configure automated tasks and notifications within workflows and enable the automated execution of business logic.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Share best practices and knowledge with team members and business users to enhance the effective use of the Camunda platform.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and provide training to end-users or new administrators.
