We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Tax Compliance ManagerAs a key member of our team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of indirect taxes. The successful candidate will have expertise in preparing tax returns, managing timely payments, handling tax assessments and audits, and providing strategic insights to optimize our tax position.Prepare and file GST Returns: The candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)Reconcile Input Tax Credit: The candidate will reconcile input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR 2B and vendor reconciliationManage GST Litigation: The candidate will handle GST litigation, including drafting responses to notices, representing the company before tax authorities, and coordinating with legal consultantsThe ideal candidate will possess up-to-date knowledge of changes in indirect tax laws and integrate them into our compliance policies. They will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate tax accounting and reconciliation. Ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of records for all tax-related transactions is also essential.
