Focusing primarily on the US market, the client works with renowned global brands, including large Strategy Consulting firms, Private Equity firms, and Corporations, specializing in the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom) sector, as well as other diversified industrial verticals.

 

A specialized Strategy Analytics Consulting firm enabled by its technology-driven service is built on a proprietary AI platform that collects, contextualizes, and analyzes multiple streams of data and signals. The platform utilizes innovative methodologies such as taxonomies, ontologies, knowledge graphs, natural language processing, machine learning, and graph analytics to support the craft of strategy.

 

Profile - Engagement Manager


Location – Gurgaon or NCR (Hybrid)

Employment Type - Full-time

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative analytics solutions for the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. This role combines thought leadership, strategy development, and hands-on execution to help our clients make informed decisions in high-stakes environments.

 

The ideal candidate could be either an accomplished individual contributor or someone with experience managing a team in the TMT industry . You should have deep expertise in specific segments of the TMT sector (such as Cybersecurity, IoT, Fintech, etc.) and a proven track record of independent thinking and analytics in assessing industry and company attractiveness.

 

The Responsibiilty

·      Doing research on TMT industry segments and building content relating to industry and company attractiveness, company growth areas, financial performance, valuations et al.

·     Being part of a highly talented and motivated team that is pioneering new thinking on TMT industry outlook

·      Front-ending with clients for business and analytical presentations and interaction. Be the bridge between the company and assigned clients.   

·      Use the output of our product, augment it with creative thinking and create compelling presentations and models for our M&A clients

·      Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies within the TMT sector to enhance analytics outputs.

·      Actively participate in refining methodologies and frameworks for greater client impact.

 

Must-Have Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Economics from a top-tier university (e.g., IITs, NITs, DU).

·      MBA from a leading institution in India or abroad.

·      Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.

·      Strong research, analytical, and numerical skills, with a logical approach to problem- solving and solution development.

·      Detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual information presentation.

·      High proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

·      Ability to work effectively in a timeline-driven, high-pressure environment (typical of consulting firms).

 

Preferred Qualifications

·      Minimum 9+ years of experience in TMT industry

·      Currently in a client delivery and thought leadership position in Business Research, Consulting, or part of a Corporation’s Strategy team

·      Experience in international projects or exposure to global markets.

·      Proven ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis.

·     Experience in using Data Visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

·      Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to proactively contribute to the firm’s goals and mission.

·      Self-driven, highly motivated, and energetic, with a strong "can-do" attitude.

·      Professional appearance and polished manner of speaking.

·      Prior experience in a small and fast-growing organization or start up environment.

·      Track record of identifying innovative ways to contribute to team success
