This role requires strong expertise across Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API & Database Testing, AI-based testing tools, Browser Automation, and Cross-Browser Testing, along with proven experience in leading and scaling QA teams.You will drive the end-to-end quality strategy for Zoca's web and mobile products, mentor a team of QA engineers, and partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure flawless releases. This is a high-ownership leadership opportunity with significant impact on product reliability, velocity, and user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & ManagementLead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of QA engineers (manual + automation)Define QA team goals, KPIs, and performance standardsAllocate resources, prioritize workloads, and ensure on-time delivery of all QA activitiesEstablish a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvementQuality Strategy & ExecutionDefine and implement a scalable QA strategy for web, mobile, and backend systemsOversee creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation suitesEnsure full test coverage across functional, regression, smoke, and performance scenariosBuild and mature test automation frameworks using Playwright and/or SeleniumIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support faster, reliable releasesDrive end-to-end release readiness and provide QA sign-offsAI-Driven TestingLeverage AI/LLM-based tools for automated test case generation, script optimization, and defect predictionImplement intelligent test selection and prioritization using AI toolsEvaluate emerging AI QA tools and integrate them into the QA workflowTechnical ResponsibilitiesEnsure high-quality testing across platforms including cross-browser & cross-deviceOversee API automation (Postman, RestAssured, Bruno) and database testing using SQLReview and optimize automation scripts for performance and stabilityMaintain detailed QA documentation including coverage reports, execution logs, and defect reportsCollaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure clarity of requirementsWhat We're Looking For5–8 years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA leadership or managerial roleStrong expertise in Playwright, Javascript/Python, Selenium, and automation frameworksHands-on experience with both manual and automation testingExposure to AI/LLM-based QA tools and automation systemsStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and modern QA practicesExperience setting up and integrating automation in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub CI or similar)Solid understanding of API testing, cross-browser testing, and mobile web testingProficient with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Linear, or similar)Strong people management, stakeholder handling, and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environmentWhy Join ZocaLead the QA function in a rapidly scaling startupHigh-impact role shaping automation, AI-driven testing, and QA strategyWork closely with product, engineering, and operations to drive quality across the companyFast learning curve, accelerated career growth, and ownership from Day 1A culture that values agility, autonomy, and customer obsession
