Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer – Edge Computing

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer specializing in Edge Computing to design, develop, and deploy devices capable of performing real-time data processing and analysis directly on the device. This role requires expertise in embedded systems and local data processing, creating solutions that reduce reliance on cloud-based computing by processing data at the edge. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-power, high-performance devices that support AI and IoT applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded systems optimized for edge computing, capable of processing data locally for applications like IoT and AI
  • Integrate machine learning models and algorithms directly on edge devices for real-time data analysis and decision-making
  • Work with low-power, high-performance hardware to ensure device efficiency and operational reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet application requirements and implement effective edge computing solutions
  • Conduct rigorous testing and optimization to ensure device reliability, resilience, and efficiency in various environments
  • Stay current with advancements in edge computing, IoT, and embedded technology, applying new insights to ongoing projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems, hardware design, and edge computing, with a proven track record in developing embedded devices
  • Proficiency with hardware platforms like ARM, FPGA, or custom SoCs for low-power edge applications
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with AI libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, ONNX) for embedded applications
  • Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and device security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid setup, with regular on-site presence in Bengaluru
