Job Title: Senior Engineer - Civil & Construction EngineeringReporting Line: Civil LeadDepartment: Project ConstructionLocation: Gadag, KarnatakaAbout Employer: One of the leading MNCs in the energy sectorResponsibilitiesFoundation Works: Supervise and monitor all WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) foundation activities as per the defined project schedule, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.Bar Bending Schedule: Prepare, review, and finalize the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) in line with approved drawings.Structural & Quality Control: Oversee structural works and ensure strict compliance with quality control procedures.Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality execution of assigned civil works.Civil Infrastructure: Supervise all site activities related to civil works, including: Switchyard foundations, Access pathways, Cranepad construction.Technical Review: Review and interpret technical reports, such as hydrology studies, to guide site execution.QA/QC Implementation: Ensure the implementation of all QA/QC procedures, quality control plans, and work instructions at the site.Concrete Quality Monitoring: Oversee concrete production and placement, ensuring compliance with approved mix designs.Field Quality Inspections: Conduct inspections for all civil and structural works to verify compliance with specifications.Material Testing: Supervise cube tests and other material quality tests, ensuring the results meet project requirements.Skills and QualificationsEducation: B.Tech. in Civil EngineeringExperience: 5–12 years of experience in WTG installation and project constructionSkills:Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Earth Internal QA/QCPlanning and forecastingVendor ManagementHSE knowledge and compliance
