Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for Complete Procurement of any items and services related to Production and/ or any other department , where any coordination is required with external suppliers , as per the laid down policies of the company.
Identify the needs for capital expenditure well in advance of the requirement and bring it to the notice of the Management .
Responsible for implementing process improvements in all phases of the procurement cycle - supplier rationalization, volume aggregation, management of specifications, demand management to reduce and manage overall corporate spend.
Responsible to work with Finance colleagues, ensuring strong business controls in all procurement activities including cost management and cost tracking
Responsible for developing an annual plan and budget for all future procurements in coordination with different department heads and finance departments, ensuring the efficient utilization of allocated resources.
Responsible for discovering profitable suppliers and suggesting business and organizational partnerships. Also , to negotiate with external vendors to secure beneficial terms , finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
Responsible for foreseeing alterations in comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients . To build and maintain long term relations with the suppliers.
Responsible for formulating and issuing amendments to orders as necessary wherever there is a change in specification, price and quantity. To resolve all disputes arising out of technical or commercial problems in coordination with the legal / administration and / or concerned department , wherever required.
Responsible for Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers for better productivity and cost effectiveness in the concerned department.
Responsible for keeping a track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Responsible for managing the flow of services & resources throughout the organization in order to get the optimization of company’s resources by collaborating with the different divisions within the group company to enhance the core business.
Responsible for Coordination of manufacturing schedules, storage and shipment of certain goods and commodities, while assisting the operations team.
Responsible for Developing Procedures and Systems for streamlining the procurement and distribution operations of resources required by the concerned department.
Responsible for coordinating with the operations / account department for follow up on the due payments by the customers.
