Quality Assurance SpecialistThis role involves thorough testing of software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The specialist will create comprehensive test plans, execute detailed test cases, document results, and collaborate with development teams to improve product quality.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business requirements and technical specifications in depth.Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts that meet the highest standards.Identify test scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing that ensure the application meets the expected functionality.Execute manual and automated test cases thoroughly to validate the application's functionality, performance, and usability.Document test results accurately and log defects in a tracking system.Identify, report, and track defects through resolution efficiently.Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues effectively.Retest fixes to ensure proper resolution and maintain the application's integrity.Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and SDLC process consistently.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings (Agile) to facilitate collaboration and progress.Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and productivity.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure alignment and success.Provide regular updates on testing status and risks to stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Hands-on experience in manual testing.Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
