We're seeking a Database Administrator tomanage and support SQL Server databases on mission -critical high volume OLTPproduction systems. The ideal candidate will possess some database developmentbackground as well as current experience as a production SQL Server databaseadministrator. The role requires a proactive and self motivated individual, whois willing to take an idea, groom it into a well defined user story, and seethrough the implementation.  Responsibilities:·       Configure and maintain databaseservers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance toensure high levels of performance, availability and security·       Troubleshoot and resolveperformance issues·       SQL Server performance tuning,including analyzing query execution plans, SQL server profiling, index designand tuning, and index maintenance strategies·       Database backup management andrecovery·       Database administration relatedprojects, as needed·       Respond to critical andnon -critical production alerts, and availability to be on an on -call rotationschedule to provide production support when critical issues arise will berequired·       Create requested databaseobjects and assist with production releasesQualifications:·       6 -8 years SQL Serverexperience, with 2+ years SQL Server development experience, 3+ years inDatabase Administration·       Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience or related major·       SQL Server 2016 and 2019experience required. ·       Experience with Azure·       Extensive experience writingSQL queries and stored procedures·       Experience optimizing queriesand database objects, including advanced skills in index design and maintenance·       Experience with SQL ServerService Broker, SQL Server in a Windows Cluster environment, and AlwaysOnAvailability Groups·       Experience with encryptionincluding TDE and Always Encrypted·       Experience with monitoringtools such as SQL Monitor, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Idera, System Center·       Excellent problem solving andeffective research skills·       Dedication and willingness towork some alternative schedules as necessary·       Effective verbal and writtencommunication skills·       Self -motivated with the abilityto work as part of a team or independently·       Experience supportingenterprise level production systems in a fast -paced, high availability serverenvironmentDesired Qualifications:·       Experience in PostgreSQL is aplus Requirements Looking for Candidates from Noida, Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad locations
