Job TitleThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a cloud-based data platform on AWS, Azure or GCP.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain the cloud-based data platform, including workspace setup, user and group management, access control, and security configurations.Provide technical support to data engineering and science teams, perform restores/recoveries, troubleshoot service issues, and resolve platform-related problems.Install, configure and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces, monitor and manage cluster performance, resource utilization and platform costs.Implement and manage access controls and security policies to protect sensitive data, ensure compliance with relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Manage connections between Databricks and other data sources like Snowflake, optimize data pipelines and workflows.Develop automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate should have experience working with cloud-based data platforms, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities.Benefits:This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
