We are hiring software engineers to work on projects for clients outside of India and so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Job Title : Kotlin EngineerLocation : KochiWorking Hours : 1 PM IST to 10 PM ISTExperience Required : Minimum 3 yearsEducation : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Who are you?Android Development Expertise : You have significant experience developing Android applications using
Kotlin . You are familiar with
Android SDK ,
Jetpack Components , and Android architecture patterns such as
MVVM
and
MVP .Google Ecosystem : You have a solid understanding of
Material Design Guidelines
and are skilled at building user-friendly, responsive Android applications that offer a smooth experience across different devices.API Integration : You are experienced in integrating
RESTful APIs
using
Retrofit
or
OkHttp
and have a good understanding of background tasks and threading in Android.UI/UX Sensitivity : You can implement clean, responsive UI layouts using
XML
and
Jetpack Compose . You understand how to optimize applications for various screen sizes and densities.Testing : You are experienced in writing unit and integration tests using
JUnit ,
Espresso , or similar tools, ensuring the robustness of your applications.Version Control & Collaboration : You are proficient in Git and familiar with code reviews and collaborative workflows. You are comfortable working in a
Scrum
or
Agile
environment.Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) : You have experience with tools like
Jenkins ,
GitLab CI , or
Bitrise , and understand the process of automating builds and deployments to
Google Play Store .Problem Solver : You are proficient at troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues that arise in Android development.Communication Skills : You are an effective communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.Experience : You have

in developing native Android applications using
Kotlin
in a professional setting.
What you will be doing?Android App Development : You will develop and maintain Android applications using
Kotlin , adhering to Google’s best practices and Material Design standards.Feature Implementation : You will work with product managers and designers to implement new features and ensure the best possible user experience.Maintain Code Quality : You will write clean, maintainable code and ensure that proper testing is conducted to maintain application stability.Optimization : You will ensure that the Android applications perform optimally on a wide range of devices and screen sizes, and that any performance issues are addressed promptly.Google Play Store Deployment : You will assist in deploying applications to the
Google Play Store , managing app versions, and handling any issues that arise during deployment.Collaboration and Mentoring : You will work collaboratively with other teams and have opportunities to mentor junior developers.
