Senior Backend Development Specialist

Backend Development SpecialistWe're seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Fastify and Express.Design and develop backend services utilizing Node.js with Fastify and Express for efficient application architecture.Collaborate within a monorepo setup (Turborepo or Nx) for maintaining codebase scalability and organization.Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes to streamline software delivery.Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes for robust infrastructure management.Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Develop well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.Perform load and performance testing for system reliability under scale.Requirements:Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and its ecosystem.Familiarity with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx).Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services.Familiarity with API testing (Postman) and load testing tools.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORMs.As a senior member of our team, you will be empowered to drive innovation and improve our software architecture.
