Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with 7+ years of experience to focus on acquiring high-value Geo-Spatial and remote sensing projects. This role requires a proven track record in handling government and international projects, setting ambitious sales targets, and identifying new business opportunities. As part of the Q-Gate team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, leveraging our advanced Geo-Spatial solutions.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Direct Business Growth: Lead the end-to-end business development process, from strategic planning to deal closure, particularly in Geo-Spatial and engineering projects such as BIM, reverse engineering, content annotations, and software/tools development.
  • Project Acquisition: Utilize your expertise to identify, handle, and bid on government and international projects, bringing in high-value contracts for the company.
  • Target Setting and Achievement: Forecast sales targets, set ambitious business goals, and work diligently to exceed them, contributing directly to Q-Gate’s revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Geo-Spatial sector, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Team Engagement: Initially a hands-on role, but with the potential to build and lead a team as the business development department grows.
  • Global Exposure: Leverage Q-Gate’s global presence to identify and capitalize on international business opportunities, expanding the company’s footprint in the Geo-Spatial market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D and marketing, to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications for Business Development Manager

  • 7+ years of experience in Geo-Spatial sales and business development, with a proven track record of acquiring projects in remote sensing and Geo-Spatial analytics.
  • Strong experience in bidding on government and international projects, with a focus on Geo-Spatial and engineering solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Geo-Spatial technologies, including GIS, BIM, and remote sensing.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales targets, with a strong focus on business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with high-value clients.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with setting and exceeding business targets.
  • Experience working with global markets and identifying new business opportunities.


Required Skills & Qualifications for Business Development Executive

  • 3+ years of experience in Geo-Spatial sales and business development, with a proven track record of contributing to project acquisition in remote sensing and Geo-Spatial analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in bidding for government and international projects, specifically in Geo-Spatial and engineering solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Geo-Spatial technologies, including GIS, BIM, and remote sensing, with the ability to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to achieving sales targets and supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach to building and maintaining relationships.
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work under supervision and contribute independently when required.
  • Exposure to global markets and identifying potential business opportunities is a plus.
