Job Title: Financial Accountant with Language SkillsWe are seeking a qualified financial accountant to join our team.Job Description:We are looking for a skilled financial accountant with expertise in accounting principles, preparation of financial statements, and VAT returns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial accounting, preferably with experience in the property and real estate sector. They will work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.Financial Management:Preparation and review of monthly profit & loss (P&L) and balance sheet for multiple properties.Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial statements, in line with company accounting policies and procedures.Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication:Collaborate with finance managers in the UK and operations teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts.Analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.VAT Returns:Prepare and review VAT returns for the properties in compliance with local tax regulations.Language Skills:Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.Experience in property or real estate accounting is preferred but not a requirement.Benefits:This role offers a great opportunity for professional growth and development, working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
