Physical Design Engineer RoleAs a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing digital ICs using cutting-edge tools and technologies.Key Responsibilities:Proficiency with Innovus, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler for place and route, timing closure, and physical design sign-off is essential.Experience in floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and static timing analysis is crucial.Optimization focus on power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization is required.Sign-off tasks include conducting DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction for clean designs.Advanced process nodes: 7nm, 5nm, or lower are involved.Cross-functional collaboration with design, verification, and manufacturing teams is necessary.Driving the tape-out process and ensuring high-quality designs is critical.Requirements:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.4+ years of experience in physical design engineering is required.Preferred experience with DFM, DFT, and advanced packaging technologies is an asset.
