Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and expertise in Accounts Receivables.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Transition Management

  • Collaborate with project teams to address transition phase issues and ensure operational billing and collection processes from the start.
  • Oversee financial tasks for the first two months and provide training and documentation to AR team members for ongoing management.

2. Contract and PO Management

  • Track financial deliverables, monitor and update PO balances, and keep AR team informed about contract terms.
  • Notify SPOC of discrepancies, track contract and PO statuses, and provide timely updates.

3. Billing and Collection Management

  • Review and ensure timely completion of billing reports by the AR team, address delays, and monitor key dates.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices, participate in collection calls, get payment ETAs and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely payments.

4. Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and deliver AR reports (aging, cash flow forecasts, performance metrics) and analyse data to support decision-making.

5. Team Leadership Support

  • Take team lead responsibilities and decision-making in their absence to ensure continuity of AR operations.



Qualifications:

  • MBA/master’s in finance with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Follow-up Skills : Proficient in following up on overdue invoices and negotiating payment terms.
  • Problem-solving : Skills to address delays and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Data Analysis : Ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Reporting Skills : Proficiency in generating AR reports (aging, cash flow forecasts, performance metrics).
