Job SummaryThis role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled mobile developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our core mobile product.Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance mobile application using React Native and Expo (EAS).Architect and enhance a robust Design System using TypeScript and component API best practices, ensuring component reusability, clear styling tokens, and proper documentation.Develop and maintain the network layer, ensuring efficient data fetching, robust error handling, effective caching strategies, and streamlined data transformation.Drive app performance optimization, focusing on reducing re-renders, minimizing Bridge traffic, leveraging JSI for smooth animations, and optimizing bundle/startup time.Take full ownership of core mobile features from concept to deployment.Contribute to high code quality through rigorous peer review and knowledge sharing.Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for a highly experienced professional with:A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to in-depth React Native for cross-platform mobile apps.Expert proficiency in React Native core principles, Expo (including EAS), TypeScript, and modern state management.Proven experience in profiling and optimizing complex mobile applications and resolving common performance bottlenecks.Deep experience architecting and building Design Systems with a focus on modularity, scalability, and performance.Extensive experience designing and managing the network/data fetching layer.Strong product sense and ability to champion user-centric design.Proficiency in backend integrations and experience with cloud platforms.Bonus PointsCandidates with the following skills will be considered favorably:Successful app launches on the App Store and Google Play.Experience with native development or mobile testing frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD processes and JSI libraries.
