Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable serverside applications using Node.js.
  • Implement highperformance applications by writing testable reusable and efficient code.
  • Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Integrate data storage solutions including databases keyvalue stores blob stores etc.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers on combining their frontend elements and components with the server side.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  • 12 years of experience in Node.js development.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript its quirks and workarounds.
  • Good understanding of serverside templating languages and CSS preprocessors.
  • Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express StrongLoop etc.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems servers and environments.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
  • Good understanding of serverside logic and maintenance.
