This Private Limited Company is a joint venture of a group of investors who are working professionals from different countries such as India, UAE , UK and USA.  Company is having a vision to expand its presence in India and abroad in area of B2B and B2C businesses.


Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee and control our full operations, driving our company towards achieving established KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar industry and will play a crucial role in developing new quality products, optimizing procurement and supply chain processes, managing cost-effective production, efficient resource management, Business development Etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee all operational functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Product Development: Spearhead initiatives to develop and launch new quality products that meet market demands and enhance the company’s competitive edge.
  • Supply Chain Management: Optimize procurement and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Cost Management: Implement strategies to manage and reduce production costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage and develop competent resources, ensuring the team is motivated, skilled, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of company assets, ensuring optimal utilization and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and product quality. Provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for operational enhancements and implementing best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and R&D, to align strategies and drive overall company growth.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and standards, (National and International) implementing quality control measures as needed.
  • Business Development / Marketing: Ensure to achieve the Business Target set by the Management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years Total and Minimum 5 Years in a similar role within the Luggage Industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing operations and achieving KPIs.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions and identify operational efficiencies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and other operational software tools.
